Before attending your appointment, please refer to our policies below.
Can I request a specific therapist or esthetician?
Absolutely. We are happy to accommodate requests for a specific therapist, esthetician, or provider gender whenever possible. Guests may request a preferred provider when booking online, over the phone, or by speaking with one of our front desk team members. While we make every effort to honor all requests, provider preferences are subject to availability at the time of booking.
To ensure the best availability, we encourage guests to communicate any provider preferences when making their reservation.
What if I forgot to mention my provider preference when booking?
Provider preferences can be selected when booking online or communicated to our team when booking by phone. If your preference was not provided at the time of booking, please notify us as soon as possible. The earlier we receive your request, the more likely we can accommodate it.
Requests to change providers within 24 hours of your appointment or upon arrival are subject to availability. If we are unable to accommodate the requested change and you choose not to proceed with your originally scheduled provider, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and will be subject to our Cancellation Policy.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Guests should arrive approximately 30 minutes before services begin. This allows time for any forms to be filled out as well as time to get settled and into the provided robes and slippers for your visit.
*Note robes and slippers are property of the spa and leaving with either may result in charges. Robes are available for purchase at the front desk.
What if I arrive late for my appointment?
Late arrivals will be charged for the full service. Providers will try to accommodate, however extending time to make up for being late may not always be possible. After 15 minutes guests will be considered a no call, no show and will be subject to the cancellation policy of up to 100% of the cost of service.
It is suggested that all guests arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment start time.

What is your gratuity/etiquette policy?
Standard gratuity for spa services is 18-22% on price of your service. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with a service, please notify a manager.
Guests who leave without paying after services have been provided will have an added 30% gratuity charged to the card on file.
While cash is not accepted for payment; cash can be left as a gratuity.
Do you have a cell phone policy?
We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones off or to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. If you need to take a phone call during your service, we ask you do so outside the service area in order to not disturb other guests. Cell phone use during service time will affect the length of your spa services.
If calls must be answered while receiving any services, your providers will excuse themselves until the call is finished.
To ensure the safety and privacy of our guests and staff, all video and Facetime calls are strictly prohibited without prior authorization.
What is the refund policy?
Gift card purchases are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
Refunds are permitted within 7 days of purchase. Items must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging with proof of purchase from the spa. For any questions regarding refunds please contact us at [email protected].
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, children under the age of 14 are not permitted to be left unsupervised in the spa at any time. A responsible adult (age 18 or older) must accompany and actively supervise children under 14 while they are in the spa area.
Sojourn Spa is not responsible for the care, supervision, or safety of unattended children.
This policy is in place to promote a safe, relaxing environment for all guests and to comply with health and safety guidelines.

General FAQs
Are spa services only for hotel guests?
Sojourn Spa is open to the public and can be used by both hotel and non-hotel guests.
Service Age Restrictions
The safety and comfort of our guests are our highest priority.
- Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign a consent form prior to receiving services.
- A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the appointment for guests under 18.
- Guests ages 16–17 may receive select massage and facial services with written parental consent and provider approval.
- Guests 14-16 may receive limited age-appropriate facial services and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the treatment room if requested by the provider.
- Certain services, including body treatments, chemical peels, advanced exfoliation, and any service deemed inappropriate by the provider, are not available to minors.
- Draping and professional standards are strictly maintained for all guests, and providers reserve the right to modify or discontinue a service if they believe it is in the guest's best interest.
Location and Parking
Sojourn is located on the 3rd floor, inside the Cascade Hotel. After entering the hotel lobby, guests can take the elevator to floor 3 or can take the stairs located across from the hotel front desk.
Garage and valet parking validation are provided by the spa at check out.
Health Considerations
If you have any special health considerations, please be sure to communicate those to our staff. Some medical conditions or medications may cause contraindications for your service. Changes may be necessary at time of appointment to accommodate.
Suggested best practice is to complete forms at time of booking.

We encourage guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment to enjoy these amenities and begin unwinding before their service.
Please Note:
- Infrared sauna sessions are available by reservation and may be added to your spa experience.
- Amenities are reserved for guests with scheduled services and may be subject to availability during peak periods or special events.
Group Bookings
Bookings for groups of five (5) or more individuals must submit a group agreement. To request the group agreement or for more information, please email [email protected] or call (816)282.2320.
Lost Items
If you believe you have lost an item, please contact the spa as soon as possible. Items found will be kept in lost and found for 90 days. Suggested practice to keep valuables safe, is to leave in private locker.
Sojourn Spa and staff are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
